Marc Nelson an American vocalist was born on 23rd January, 1971 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nelson was the son of Phyllis Nelson, who is famous for the songs Move Closer and I Like You. Marc Nelson was the member of Boyz II Men while joining Philadelphia's High School of the Performing Arts. Though, Marc Nelson left that group to follow his solo career. After releasing his single album, Marc Nelson began to deliberate his skills as songwriter. And drawing the awareness of the Baby Face, Marc Nelson wrote for performers like Tamia, Jon B, Brandy, Tyrese and Toni Braxton. During Baby Face, Marc Nelson met 4 members of the band Az Yet and also was fixed to line up as the IInd lead singer and the group was marked to the LaFace Records.
As an associate of Az Yet, Marc Nelson saw a big contract of success. And the debut album of the group was unconfined in 1996 and went to the platinum. Marc Nelson had a big contract of success with the solo Last Night which was counted in R&B charts. Besides, it arrived at #9 on Hot 100. And their 2nd single, Hard to Say I'm Sorry did even better, going platinum and reaching #8 on the Hot 100.
