Jena Malone lived in twenty-seven diverse locations at the age of 9, including Lake Tahoe, California. Jena Malone was under the shelter of Jena Malone mother Deborah and her girlfriend, whom Jena Malone calls “God mom”. Jena Malone showed her curiosity in acting and her mother was occupied in the community theater. Briefly, Jena Malone shifted to Las Vegas and hated it. Jena Malone convinced her mother to go to Los Angeles.

Jena Malone came in proficient acting with 1996 movie Bastard Out of Carolina. Jena Malone was selected for Independent Spirit Award for the Best Debut Performance and Screen Actors Guild Award for dazzling Performance in TV Film or Miniseries for this job. In 1997, Jena Malone was selected for Golden Globe, and Best actress in the Mini-series or television film, for her character in Hope. And after some years of home schooling, Jena briefly attended Professional Children's School in New York but not a long time. In January 2000, Jena Malone won the legal emancipation by her mother, to block maternal intrusion with her occupation and earnings; Jena Malone has stated that her mom “mishandled” some of her earning.
Her co-produced 2002 film American Girl, a play in which Jena Malone acted. Jena Malone was as a result of feature in the movie Vinyl but Jena Malone had to remove because of filming clashes. Jena Malone was replaced through Michelle Trachtenberg. Jena Malone had her proficient stage debut in Broadway making of Tony Award winning drama Doubt.
In the year of 2007, it was declared that Jena Malone was discharging Jena Malone first single on the Social Registry, New York City tentative music label. Several tracks were placed to her My Space page and the opening single, a 7" vinyl record attributing two tracks, is planned for discharge in 2007. And Pitchfork Media has depicted her melody as "pretty out-there-- bedroom electronics, spaced-out keyboards, and Malone's spare vocals.”
Jena Malone emerged in horrible movie The Ruins, which was unconfined on 4th April, 2008 and also co-starred with Jonathan Tucker, Laura Ramsey, and Shawn Ashmore.
Jena Malone is playing Maura O'Halloran in forthcoming film.
Currently Jena Malone is studying photography and living in Lake Tahoe.
