Marilu Henner was born on 6 April, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois and completed her education there. Being the daughter of a dance instructor, She began learning the art at the age of two. She dated the likes of John Travolta, Tony Danza and Judd Hirsch before marrying Frederic Forrest in 1980. Thrice married and twice divorced, She now lives with her current husband Michael Brown and her two children from her second marriage with Robert Lieberman.

She is a published author of seven health and beauty care books, the most popular of her works being “Total Health Makeover” and her autobiography, By All Means, Keep on Moving She is the writer and producer of the television series “Shape up your Life”.For a short while She hosted her own television talk show “Marilu” and appeared in many others like the late-night NBC program “Later”, “The Tonight’s Show” and “The Ellen DeGeneres show”.
