World Expo 2010 Shanghai Tickets

List for World Expo 2010 Shanghai Tickets Prices

There are 9 types of World Expo 2010 tickets:

• Peak Day Single Day Admission
• Peak Day Special Admission
• Standard Day Single Day Admission
• Standard Day Special Admission
• 3 Day Admission
• 7 Day Admission
• Evening Admission
• Group Admission
• Student Group Admission

Peak Day: It is the first 3 days following opening, peak day also known as labour Day holiday (May 1 – May 3, 2010), and the final 7 days of the expo 2010 (Oct 25 – Oct 31, 2010). We have 19 Peak Days in total. Peak Day ticket holders can go in to the expo zone at any.

Standard Day is the whole expo time (May 1–Oct 31, 2010), apart from Peak Days. We have 168 Standard Days in total. Standard Day ticket holders can go in to the expo zone on every standard day, they are not allowed on Peak Days.

3 Day and 7 Day entrance tickets are the correspondent of 3/7 Standard Day Admission tickets.

Evening entrance tickets are only valid after 5:00 P.M., and are only accessible on Standard Days.

Group Entry is for a group which is more than 15 people;

Student Group Entry is available for more than 30 students. For these Both ticket they must have reservation in advance.

Special Admission is for the following people:

• Disabled
• People born in or before 1950
• Students with valid IDs
• Children below 1.2m
• Chinese military personnel on active duty

For Special entrance, valid IDs are compulsory upon ticket buy and entry, and can go into expo on any day, Peak or Standard.
All tickets only can enter once on the entry day. Children shorter than 1.2m enter for free.

World Expo 2010 Sale Phase

Present they are 4 phases in the sale. The essential price is Standard Day in expo session (RMB 160 Yuan, about $20). If we purchase tickets in advance the price will be less.

• Pre-sale Phase I (Mar 27, 2009-Jun 30, 2009): Purchase is limited to groups, and only Peak Day Single Day Admission and Standard Day Single Day Admission tickets are available.
• Pre-sale Phase II (Jul 1, 2009-Dec 31, 2009): Only Peak Day Single Day Admission and Standard Day Single Day Admission tickets are available for both groups and individuals.
• Pre-sale Phase III (Jan 1, 2010-Apr 30, 2010): Peak Day Single Day Admission, Peak Day Special Admission, Standard Day Single Day Admission, Standard Day Special Admission, 3 Day Admission and 7 Day Admission tickets are available for both groups and individuals.
• Expo Session Sales (EXPO Session, May 1, 2010-Oct 31, 2010): Peak Day Single Day Admission, Peak Day Special Admission, Standard Day Single Day Admission, Standard Day Special Admission, 3 Day Admission, 7 Day Admission and Evening Admission tickets are available for both groups and individuals.
