Verizon Wireless declared that it has improved its entire EV-DO high-speed data network to the Revision A standard. Verizon assert that users will be capable to upload and download files five to six times faster than before with the Revision-A technology which was launched as a new technology of broadband internet product. The upgraded network will offer users with up to 1.4 megabits per second downlink and 600 kilobits per second uplink speeds — in assumption 1MB file will take just about eight seconds to download. This network is accessible to over 200 million Americans in chief urban areas like Boston and its suburbs the Richmond and Hampton Roads, Virginia; Chicago and its suburbs. Customers will have faster access to the Internet, e-mail and corporate data.
