Nokia Enters Android Market With device Nokia Normandy

It is reported that Nokia, one of the leading mobile companies in India is planning to release their first Android phone this year. This reportedly cheap Android phone from Nokia has the codename ‘Normandy’.

Normandy is supported by a modified "forked" version of Google’s operating system. This operating system supports android apps such as Skype, Twitter, Vine, Facebook, and BBM. Nokia is expected to name the Normandy series "Nokia X" when it starts shipping. The Normandy series is sure to surpass the limitations of the popular Asha and Lumia series. Everyone is looking forward to the unveiling of Nokia’s "Normandy” phone at the Mobile World Congress press event on February 24th in Barcelona, Spain.

The Leaked images of the Nokia Normandy, reveals that the phone is sure to be available in a variety of colors including bright green, white, yellow, red, blue and black. The pricing of the android phone is still unknown.
