Tacos
Establish a taco bar with taco shells, cheeses, tortillas, salsa, refried beans, and tomatoes and allow the birthday party guests prepare their own food!
Breakfast Supper
Serve hotcakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, various syrups, fruit and juice cocktails.
Sub Sandwiches
Arrange large sub rolls with turkey, salami, pepperoni, cheeses, tomato, onion, lettuce, black olives, mustard etc. and have the kids arrange them for themselves.
Spaghetti
Prepare different types of noodles or stick with straight pasta. Let the birthday party guest select from different sauces – alfredo or tomato - add shredded parmesan cheese and bread sticks. Add a Italian vinaigrette tossed salad and it will work wonders!
Pigs in a Blanket
Roll up a hot dog with cheese and cooked bacon and bake it.
Pizza
Ask children to make their own pizzas. Make dough, refrigerated or precooked like Boboli. Make bowls full of sauce, mushrooms, sausage, ham, cheese, pepperoni, pineapple, croutons, or anything that kid’s love!
Salads
Let the kids make their own birthday party salads with great fun toppings. Set out bowls of shredded carrots, black olives, raisins, chopped ham, cheese, sunflower seeds, and dressings. Serve in big bowls with toasted bread in one the side.
Hot Dogs
Kids like fixing up their own dog! Go for mustard, onions, catsup, and melted cheese. Popcorn or chips can add to it’s spice.
Chocolate Fountain
Bring out long toothpicks and bowls of strawberries, fruit, graham crackers, marshmallows, Twinkies dipped in chocolate.
English Muffin Pizzas
Let the kids allow to make their own pizzas using English muffins as the crust.
Bagel Pizzas
Use regular or mini bagels for great toppings and ask the kids to arrange for themselves.
Pepperoni and Sausage Breads
You can also slice and server the baked pepperoni and/or sausage breads on a platter.
Hamburgers
Serve hamburgers and allow the guests to add their own toppings. Set out plates of cheese, tomatoes, onions, and sweet pickles. Have catsup and mustard set out. Serve along with french-fries or with chips.

Talent Competition
Kids are always bestowed with one talent or the other like some of them sing well, some are dance masters and some can really imitate well. Organize a talent competition for kids just to allow them showcase his or her talent.
Egg Race
Put an egg on the spoon and kids will keep them in their mouth and carry this spoon. The kid who covers the race quickly without dropping the egg will be the winner.
Fancy Dress Competition
Provide the kids with an opportunity to dress in a fancy style and look unique. Kids will certainly admire this idea.
Balloon Defense
Tie a balloon on the ankle of every kid. The kid has to puncture the balloon of the other in order to hear a pop sound while keeping his/her balloon safe.
Musical Chair
Organize chairs (less in quantity compared to number of children) in a circle and ask all the kids move in a circle when the music is on. The children have to occupy chairs with the stop of music. Who cannot find a chair will be out of the game.
