Black Christmas

Black Christmas is a horror film which is made twice. Actually Black Christmas 2006 is a remake of the 1974 film directed by Bob Clark of the same name. The new one has been made by the makers of the Final destination. Black christmas movie is written, produced and directed by James Wong and Glen Morgan.

There has been some change in new remake as in the old one the killer remained a mystery. Black christmas is the story of a boy named Billy. The killer has a tragic past as he was not loved by his mother and step father. His mother was having an affair and kills his husband. In jealousy for his step sister he attacks his step sister on her eye and brutally kills his step father and mother.

After 15 years some girls are isolated in the house due to an ominous snowstorm. At the same time the killer in this version escapes from the mental intuition and returns to his former family house. SCTV veteran Andrea Martin who was in the original film plays the house mother.

Black Christmas 1974 is originally a Canadian horror film which was directed and produced by Bob Clark. The main actors were Olivia Hussey, Margot Kidder, Keir Dullea, Andrea Martin, and James Edmond etc. In this movie, a killer makes frightening phone calls and terrorizes the sorority sisters during Christmas break.

The whole festivities turn fatal when frightening telephone calls break the serenity. It was marketed with a tagline "If this movie doesn't make your skin crawl…It's on too tight!" Movie is set in United Kingdom of 2027. It has been 18 years since the last child is born. Clive Oven plays the role of Theo who helps his ex-wife (Julianne Moore) who is leader of a terrorist group.

Almost after two decade of infertility there is hope survival of human race, a pregnant African refugee. Theo gives everything to save the young women and safely transit her to the mysterious organization called The Human Project who is working for the survival of human race. Children of men received three Academy Award nomination and winning two BAFTA awards.

Dead silence is directed by James Wan and produced by Oillataguerre, Oren Koules, and Gregg Hoffman. The main actors were Amber Valletta, Ryan Kwanten, Donnie Wahberg, and Joan Heney etc. it is a horror movie about a ventriloquist lady, Mary Shaw who was very much obsessed with her puppet as she had no child. She kills a boy and makes him puppet and as town's people knew about it they cut out her tongue and killed her. She returned from the dead and kills through vaudeville dolls.

Richard La Gravense directed the movie and it was procuced by Michael Shamberg and Stach Sher. It is based on the book The Freedom Writers Diary by teacher Erin Gruwell. The title is play on the term "Freedom Riders", the white and black civil right activities who tested the U.S. Supreme Court decision ordering the desegregation of interstate buses in 1961.
