The Arizona State Fair is one of the 5 largest state fairs in the US. It is an annual state fair held in Phoenix, Arizona which is officially known as The Arizona Exposition and State Fair. More than a million visitors take part in this fair every year. This year the Arizona State Fair is scheduled to start on Oct. 12th and end on Nov. 4th, 2012.

Arizona State Fair History
Arizona State Fair was initially held in 1884, in Phoenix. Since then Phoenix remained the venue for this fair. The fair couldn’t be held regularly due to cotton crop failure, the Great Depression era and World War II. But after 1946, the fair has been taking place regularly every year. It was a territory fair until Arizona was established as a state.

Blige, Snoop Dogg, Miranda Lambert, Goo Goo Dolls were part of this fair in the past years. This year’s concert line-up is expected to happen in September.
