University of Central Florida for Master of Science in Real Estate

The University of Central Florida (UCF) established in the year 1963 is a public research University at Orlando, Florida and is the largest university in the state. This is a space grant university which provides research programs related to outer space. The main campus of the University of Central at Orlando has a unique lay out with a series of concentric circles. Besides the main campus, there are many other regional campuses under the University of Central Florida. There is three other campuses at Orlando, which are at Downtown, Valencia west and South Orlando. Cocoa, Clermont, Daytona Beach, Heathrow, Kissimmee, Leesburg, Ocala, Palm Bay and Sanford are places outside Orlando which has the University of Central Florida campus.

Schools under the University of Central Florida

There are twelve colleges under the University of Central Florida which offers over 90 undergraduate degrees, 90 Masters Degree and 29 doctoral programs. It also offers three specialist programs and a professional program under it.

Burnett Honors College

The college was founded in the year 1998 and was formally started in 2002. The college offers two honors program which are; the four year University Honors program which should be applied as a high school senior and the Honors IN major which is for both juniors and seniors who are interested to conduct an original research work within their major and to present the Honors undergraduate Theses.

College of Arts and Humanities

This undergraduate college was established in the year 2006 from the split of College of Arts and Science in College of Arts and Humanities and the college of Science. It offers degree in administrative arts, bachelors degree in Arts, engineering Technology, Fine Arts, Science, and Science in Business Administration, education, engineering, nursing and social science.

College of Business Administration

The college of Business administration under the University of Central Florida was established in the year 1968. The college offers bachelors, masters, doctoral and executive degrees for the students. The MBA program of the college of Business administration was ranked among the top ten by2010 Best 301 Business Schools compilation, the Princeton Review. Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting, Economics Department, Finance Department, Management Department, Management Information Systems Department, Department of Marketing, Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate, and De Vos Sport Business Management Department are the eight major departments under the college.

College of Education

The University of Central Florida College of education was established in the year 1968. The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and houses the UCF Academy for Teaching, Learning and Leadership has given its accreditations to the college which offers more than 100 degrees in the field of education. 14 bachelors' degree, 63 graduate degrees 11 minors and 25 certificate courses are provided by the college.

College of Engineering and Computer Science

The college was established in the year 1968 and was classified as a research university Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The college offers more than 100 degree in the field of engineering which includes bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The college has major three departments under it which are the Engineering and Computer Science Division, the Engineering Technology Division, and the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Division.

College of Graduate Studies

The college was established in the year 2008 and is ranked among the best ten under Florida State University. It offers more than 200 doctoral courses, professional education and scholarship for the students.

College of health and public Affair

The college of health and public affairs under the University of Central Florida was established in the year 1968.  The college located at Florida, includes six departments and schools under it. These departments are the school of social work, department of communication science and disorder, criminal justice and legal studies, health professions, and public administration.  University of central Florida College of health and public affairs also offers 21 degree courses and 27 certificates to their students.

College of hospitality and management

Rosen College of hospitality and management established in the year 1983 is the finest school of hospitality. This college offers three undergraduate and two post graduates degree to the students. Hospitality Management (BS), Restaurant and Foodservice Management (BS), and Event Management (BS) are the three under graduate degrees and Master of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Ph D in Hospitality Education are the graduate degrees offered.

College of Medicine

This college was established in the year 2006 and is one of the most selective Medical schools in the country. It offers degrees in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medicine (M.D.), Molecular Biology and Microbiology. The college offers 49 Ph D and 41 MD degrees for the students.

College of Nursing

The college was originally a department under the College of health and public Affairs which was established in the year 1968, but was later changed to the School of Nursing in the year 2007. The college offers undergraduate degrees like Basic Bachelor of Science nursing (BSN), Accelerated Bachelor of Science (BSN), RN to bachelor of science in nursing and Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and graduate degrees  like Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), RN to Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD) Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Post-Baccalaureate  Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

College of nursing also provides one post- BSN certificate and five post MSN certificate to improve education of the students.College of optics and photonicsThe college was established in the year 2004 and offers master's and doctoral degrees. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)

The course prepares the students to pursue carrier in real estate investment, development, property management and many related field. It gives a real foundation in the field and is led by eminent faculty members. The course requires the completion of three core courses of three credit hours each and five elective courses of 3 credit hours. The course also requires the completion of UCF General Education Program, UCF College of Business Administration Common Program Prerequisites, and UCF College of Business Administration Core Classes.

Undergraduate Minor in Real estate

The undergraduate minor is provided for Business or Non Business Major students in the college. It has a total of 18 credit hours with four required courses which are Personal Finance and Investments, Business Finance, Fundamentals of Real Estate , and  Real Estate Law of three credit hours each and two elective courses of three credit hours.

Graduate degree in Real estate

The Master of Science in real Estate is the graduate degree provided by the Dr. Phillip P School of Real Estate which provides advancement in the field of real estate.

Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE)

This is a sixteen month program that will begin in June 2010. It prepares the students to become professionals in the field of commercial and residential brokerage and appraisal, development and mortgage brokerage. The program curriculum includes advanced coursework in real estate including real estate markets and institutions, real estate law, finance and investment analysis, and real estate market analysis and appraisal. and core course in business finance, marketing and accounting. The cohort program is designed in such a way that the full time professional can easily continue the course, it calls for just two evenings classes a week.

The program consist of  thirty credit hours, but students without foundation in the business and real estate courses are required to undergo an additional 12 credit hours in fundamental or prerequisite course. At least two years work experience in the relevant field is required to enroll in to the program. The course allows the students to gain application level knowledge in real estate which will help them to advance in their carrier.
