Lodha Announces World's Tallest Residential Tower
Lodha developers have announced world’s tallest residential building to be located in Upper Worli, Mumbai. Lodha Developers is one of the largest real estate builders and holds the number one position in unlisted real estate company. Lodha developers are based out of Mumbai, India.
The tallest building announced by Lodha developers will stand at 450 meters when completed and will be built on a plot size of seventeen acres. The building has been named “World One” and will have over 117 storeys. Once completed, world one will become the tallest residential tower in the world surpassing the current tallest residential building Q1 in gold coast.
World one will consists of 3 residential towers offering three and four bedroom flats with all modern amenities and facilities. It will also include lavish villas with private pool and will also feature ultra-luxurious duplex mansions. World one will be flanked by one mall and one commercial complex. All these buildings will be premised in Lodha Place, a landmark development. The building will be a landmark in building history and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and Leslie E. Robertson Associates will be working along with Lodha Developers to bring this dream into reality. World one reflects high safety standards with designs which can manage wind and seismic movements.
The building will have a curved architecture to add to its beauty and will boast of an open to air observatory at 1000 feet level. The building will be serviced by 18 high speed elevators. The construction is expected to be completed by year 2014 and will have a total investment of INR 2000 Crores.
