Washington College of Law (WCL) is among the top 50 Law schools and was the first school to graduate an all female class. Real estate education

The study of real estate at as an university level course ahs increased appreciation in the last 25 years. Mostly graduate programs are provided by the university in the field of real estate but a few undergraduate programs are also available. The Real estate provides many carrier opportunities in large real estate companies, Real estate finance companies, brokerage companies and consultancies and many public sectors in the state.

Real estate graduate programs

The Kogod School of Business offers graduate degree in Master of Science in Finance and Real Estate. The MSRE (Master of Science in Real Estate) program prepares the students for finance and real estate positions in areas of commercial development, mortgage firms, banks, insurance company and property management. Opportunities are provided for the student to network with the leaders in the real estate business.

The degree can be completed in one year by full time students and in around two year by part timers and the program requires around 33 credit hours.
The course requirement includes foundation course in real estate Principle & investment, Property management, Residential real Estate& Mortgage Markets, Commercial Real Estate& mortgage Market, Commercial real Estate & Mortgage market, Real Estate development or Urban Growth & Sustainability. The tuition fees will total to around $ 29, 500.

Real estate under graduate program

The Kogod School of business study offers undergraduate business minor in real estate. The course is designed so as to provide the non business major a through understanding of the principles of real estate and also help the student apply these in real circumstances. The student are required to complete  18 credit hours with a grade of C or above, at least 12 credit hours to minor and at least 9 credit hour of minimum 300 level.

Real estate certification program

The certificate programs are designed to provide advancement in the real estate and finance field. To fulfill the course, the students are required to complete 15 credit hours and should have at least grade B or above and grade C or D will not fulfill the requisite of the certificate but will be used in the calculation of GPA. These courses are to be completed within four year period and the student should have at least six credit hours each year.

The course requisite is that the student should have a passing grade in undergraduate statistic course or mathematics equivalency exam along with passing grade in introduction to economics and accounting courses.
