Pakistani securityofficials have revealed that one of the relatives of Osama bin Laden escaped duringthe attack by the crack team of US Navy Seals which killed al-Qaeda chief. Thisnews has deepened the confusion over the destiny of one of Osama’s son, who wasconsidered as the ‘Crown Prince of Terror’.
Threeof Laden’s widows who are in custody in Pakistan have told the investigators thatone son is missing since May 2nd operation. These details have increased the fearsthat Osama’s youngest son Hamza may have escaped during the raid.
Initially,the White House had declared that Hamza, 20, had been killed at the hideoutin Abbottabad situated nearly 30 miles away from Pakistani capital Islamabad.
But,later officials clarified that al-Qaeda leader’s 22-year-old brother Khaliddied insteadof Hamza.
Allthese details have left officials in confusion that exactly what had happened. Theyfind it difficult to account for that one fellow who they believe had been stayingat the lair.
“Wedon’t know if it was his son. Someone, one person, may have been in the compoundthat we now cannot account for if - we believe what we are being told,” saidan intelligence source.
BinLaden had got married five times and the terrorist had nearly 24 children. But, itis not clear that who was living with Laden there in Abbottabad house for five years.
