Uncertaintyover Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s fate has come to end asthe state television telecasted footage of the dictator on Wednesday. Gaddafihad not been seen publicly following the NATO air strike that killed his son onApril 30. The strike on Tripoli had left his youngest son and 3 of hisgrandchildren dead.
However, Gaddafi appeared on TV in his trademark brown gown, blacksunglasses and black hat.
Pointing towards some officials and mentioning a few names,Gaddafi said, "We tell the world these are the representatives of theLibyan tribes."
Referring to the 3-month-olduprising in the North African country in opposition to the Libyan leader's 41years of ruling, an old man said Gaddafi, "You will be victorious."
Some rooms of the hotel, where Gaddafi was staying,had been sealed off. Journalists staying in that hotel were unable to seeGaddafi, who had made a high-profile entrance into the hotel along with a largeworkforce of minders and aides.
