Summer Beauty Tips

Summer is the best season to let down your walls and relax. It is the time when most of the world takes time off to recreate and renew their energies. Most parts of the world also experience longer days and so people tend to spend more time with their family and friends. However, as summer approaches with all its fun and frolic, it is necessary to ensure that your beauty regiment doesn’t get disturbed. In fact, you may need to take some extra precaution just to be on the safer side.

Summer Beauty Tips for The Hair

You can consider the following tips to make your hair more fun for the summer:

Combing in some lemon juice in your hair can help boost it’s looks naturally. Every time you go outdoors or in the sun, it will lighten up your hair naturally and faster. It will provide for a sun-kissed healthy attractive look.

You need to ensure that you deep condition your hair regularly - at least once a week. In the sun, hair tends to get dull and dry faster and if you swim - it gets brittle too. So it is best to deep condition to maintain its health.

If you swim very often, it’s recommended that you leave in conditioner before swimming. It will provide some level of protection.

Summer Beauty Tips for The Skin

You can consider the following tips to make your skin safe and healthy for the summer:

Be careful not to over-tan your skin. While summer is a great time to be outdoors and it is very tempting to gain as much color as possible, you want to be careful not to burn your skin. It’s best to rely on some amount of make up to give color as well.

You have to use sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 15 to ensure that your skin is safe from the harmful rays. Not only does it provide immediate protection, but it also helps prevent early aging of the skin, and cancer.

Be sure to drink at least eight glasses of water in the day. You need to keep your body and skin hydrated.

Use lotions including Aloe Vera. It is a soothing agent and will keep your skin calm in the hot months. If you suffer a tan burn or sun burn, it’s best that you use aloe vera products to ensure it heals faster and leaves as few marks.

Summer is also the time for mosquitoes and other garden insects. So you need to be careful about not allowing them near you. Not only is that necessary for health reasons, but also to ensure that you don’t get large ugly red colored marks on your skin from their bites or stings. So be sure to use an insect repellent on you at all times.

It is best to use the least amount of make up in the summer as that’s when your face glows naturally the most. Use light make up, if you have to. You can avoid greasy looks and look radiant.
