What is Prickly Heat?

Oatmeal powder is a useful home remedy for prickly heat. Add a small amount of oatmeal in a bath tub and stir it well. Sit in this bath tub, oatmeal powder will offer fast relief from burning sensation and soothe the skin.

Talcum Powder and Ointments

Apply herbal power or non-perfumed powder after bath. This will suck up extra moisture from the body and protect from prickly heat. Repeat this method 4-5 times a day. The only concept is to keep the body dry and free from sweat and moisture. Similarly, there are some herbal ointments and lotions like Aloe Vera-rich gel that can be facilitated for soothing the affected area.

Ice Cubes

Margosa Neem Leaves

Take 20-25 neem leaves and prepare a paste of it mixing with water. Use it over the affected area and leave it to dry. This is one of the best home remedies for prickly heat.

Wet Sponge

Take cotton ball and soak in cold water. Place it over the affected area and allow all the water to be absorbed away. Try this method 2-3 times a day. This gives comfort from inflammation and prickly heat. You can also mix few drops of oatmeal in it.
