To get this soup right one has to start with heating the oil. This is followed by adding the onion to the pan with the oil. Then it is the turn of the red pepper, ground coriander, chili and rice to be added to the pan. This whole mixture should be stirred for a good few minutes. After the stirring is done, one can introduce the stock, chickpeas and turkey along with the seasoning in the pot. The pot should be covered with a lid and allowed to simmer until it comes to a boil which generally takes 10 to 12 minutes. The soup can then be served along with some fresh coriander on top.
