Quick And EasyPaneer Bhurji Ingredients
- Mashed paneer – 300 grams
- Spring onions (chopped) – ½ cup
- Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Finely chopped green chillies – 2
- Capsicum (diced) - 1
- Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
- Asafetida – a pinch
- Chopped tomatoes – 2
- Cooking oil – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
Paneer Bhurji Preparation Method
- Heat the oil in the kadhai until the fumes begin to appear.
- Fry the green chillies and asafetida for about 15 seconds.
- Add the mustard seeds and fry until they begin to splutter.
- Add spring onions, and fry for about 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes and capsicum, and mix in turmeric powder and salt.
- Fry the entire mixture for about 3 to 4 minutes, until the oil begins to separate.
- Add the paneer and continue to fry along with the other ingredients for another minute or two.
- Remove from the flame and serve hot along with chapattis or puris.
- Paneer bhurji also goes well with rice either fried or simply plain, boiled rice.
