Kundalini yoga is a technique of meditation to revitalize physical, mental and spiritual development in a human body. It is a form of yoga discipline including Raja yoga, Shakti yoga, Bhakti yoga, tantra, Kriya yoga, Laya-yoga and Nada yoga.  According to Hindu mythology, Kundalini yoga is one of the pillars of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra. Kundalini yoga is practiced to empower inner consciousness of a human body. It has been thought that there are seven chakras in a human body namely - Muladhara Chakra, Svadhisthana Chakra, Manipura Chakra, Anahata Chakra, Vishuddha Chakra, Ajna Chakra and Sahasrara Chakra.

The goal of Kundalini yoga is to make a chord of mingling inner power in one tune. The snake is to run through all the seven chakras and work properly. This process forms a super inner power and it finally clubs to one point.

Kundalini yoga is a technical meditation of enabling the snake to move over the seven chakras and if this process is practiced in a fine tuned manner, then all the seven chakras will empower to work properly.
