  • As a typical dietary supplement there are no specific dosage criteria for GABA supplement. Hence it is advisable to consult a doctor before taking GABA supplement.

  • GABA is available in powder form, tablet and capsule. Capsules are normally opened and consumed after mixing with juice or water; for easy ingestion.

  • GABA causes mild drowsiness, so it is recommended to take it at night.

Side-Effects of GABA Supplement

Though GABA is a naturally produced supplement, it does cause side effects when not taken properly. The side effects caused due to GABA supplement include dysphoria, increased blood pressure and heart rate.
