The day a man becomes a father marks a great milestone in his life. Now he is inextricably bonded to another human being, a human being he had a part in the creation of. Traditionally, mothers always took care of children and the household but nowadays, society has changed and men are playing increasingly equal roles in the bringing up of their children. Fatherhood is a very challenging role to play and a father has to balance his love for his child with strictness or firmness and teaching his child the right value system so that he can grow up to be a strong and independent citizen of the world we live in. Some describe fatherhood as both a journey and a destination. Once you become a father, you will remain one, no matter what the situation or how old your child is.
