Beauty Tips for Hair

Irrespective of the length or the color, your hair can make or break the way you look and feel. Therefore, in order for you to feel adequately good, you should spend some time taking care of your hair.

You can use the Following Tips to Beautify your Hair:

  • Adequate Diet: If you eat well, your hair will show for it. So ensure that you are taking in a balanced diet. The hair is severely affected by the iron content. So, if you are anaemic, then your hair will show. Your hair will be dull, brittle and will fall incessantly. You should improve your iron content by taking in supplements, Arabic dates, fresh vegetables - particularly the green ones, leafy vegetables, eggs and meat. You should also consume some form of Vitamin C that will help absorb the iron in the body.
  • Cutting the hair: Cutting your hair doesn’t change the speed at which it grows, contrary to popular belief. So, while it may not be necessary to cut your hair to keep it growing faster, it is still necessary to do so to help keep it clean. If you hair gets dry faster, it may also burst at the ends and cause split ends faster. In that case, it is recommended that you cut it regularly. Additionally, if your hair is shorter, it is easier to keep the scalp clean that if it were longer.
  • Avoid Damage to Hair: Regular blow drying or straightening or perming of the hair can cause it to suffer damage faster. Worst still is if you permanently do any of these chemical treatments to it: coloring, straightening, perming, smoothing, weaving or even bleaching. In fact, bleaching is one of the worst things anyone can do to their hair - while it may provide the desired effect, it will, for sure, cause the hair to get more brittle. Bleaching usually involves hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide is the worst kind of chemical that can be applied to the hair. If you are going in for any of these treatments, you should ensure that you take enough post treatment care of your hair. You may need to deep condition it more often and also get more frequent hair cuts to get rid of the dead hair or split ends.
  • Regular use of heat on Hair: Many people very regularly use some form of heat or the other on their hair. It may be blow drying or iron straightening or perming. In all these cases, some amount of damage is done to the hair. Be sure to buy products that don’t directly put the heat on the hair and offer some level of protection. Also buy products that will allow you to reduce temperatures if you need to. Otherwise, it may get too hot and may burn the hair. Apart from that, be sure to use a shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment serum that will protect your hair while you are heating it in some form.
