How to Perform Adho Mukha Svanasana

This is an easy way of yoga. In this, a person should keep his arms just beneath the shoulder and knees beneath the hips. Keep your middle finger straight. Make your back horizontally straight and flat. Now the person should look down. This is the position known as neutral position in which back and front is equally long.While doing so spine should have a pressure with full extension. Stretch your arms, shoulder, back, feet to full extent and then hold your breath for 11-12 seconds and leave the breath and come to original position back .One should take care of his balance because person can misbalance very easily.

Although this pose is beneficial for all type of people therefore this pose is said to be rejuvenator of the body. Still this pose can be dangerous for heart patients, patients having high blood pressure etc. Sometimes it becomes difficult for obese patients because it puts lots of weight on hands. A person who has back pain or problem in knees should avoid doing this pose as this can add more problems in your health. As the person has to face downwards so it is not good for people who have bad eye site, inflammation of the eyes.
