Stars and Stripes Torte Ingredients

  • 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) white cake mix
  • 1-1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.3 ounces) instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 1-2/3 cups raspberry pie filling
  • 1-2/3 cups blueberry pie filling
  • Fresh blueberries and raspberries, optional

Stars and Stripes Torte Preparation Method

  • Prepare the cake as per the directions which are given on the cake package and then cool the cakes after you take it out from the oven.
  • In a small sized bowl beat up milk, pudding and vanilla flavor gently till they form a smooth whip. Let it aside for the mixture to settle. After the mixture is settled cool it in a refrigerator for 10 minutes or till it gets thickened.
  • Cut the baked cakes horizontally into many layers and place the base layer on a serving plate. Now spread the raspberry pie filling on the base layer and place the second layer. Spread the pudding mixture on this layer and place the third layer. On the third layer again you can spread the blueberry spread. Continue the same procedure till you run out of the mixture and make sure place the last layer with the mixture on top.
  • Decorate the cake with some nice blueberries in the shape of a star.
