Chunky Cranberry Sauce Ingredients

 

Cranberries 12 oz

Water 3/4 cups

Orange 1

Citrus zest         1 teaspoon

Vegan sugar 1 cup

 

Chunky Cranberry Sauce Preparation Method

 

Juice the orange to get about 1/4 cups of the juice and pour it, water and vegan sugar into a soup pot. Cook on high flame until the sugar dissolves completely and the liquid starts to boil. 

Next, add the cranberries and boil till the sauce mix starts to bubble, cover with the lid and stir the mix after every few seconds. You have to be careful that the cranberries don’t bubble and burst out of the pot.

Add the citrus zest and then mush the boiling sauce. Boil till the cranberry stops bursting and the sauce gets all thick and red.

Remove from heat, cool it and refrigerate at least for two hours to get the sauce set.
