- Maraschino cherries with stems - 24
- Chocolate chips – 12 ounces
- Butter (softened) – ½ cup
- Peanut butter – 1 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
- Shortening – ¼ cup
- Confectionary Sugar – 2 cups
Cherry Peanut Butter Balls Preparation Method
- Beat butter and peanut butter in a small bowl to a smooth consistency.
- Add vanilla essence.
- Slowly, add the confectioner’s sugar and mix until it dissolves.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Dry the cherries gently with paper towels.
- Fill a rounded tablespoon with peanut butter.
- Wrap it around each cherry.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
- Take a small, microwave-safe bowl.
- Fill the bowl with the chocolate chips and microwave until the chocolate chips melt.
- Remove peanut butter balls from the fridge and dip them in the chocolate.
- Allow the excess chocolate to drain off.
- Refrigerate for an hour before serving
