Brown Rice Casserole Ingredients
- Long grain brown rice: 2 cups
- Peas: 1 cup, fresh
- Water: 5 cups
- Chicken stock: ½ cup
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Vegetables: 1 cup carrots, cabbage, beans, diced
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Brown Rice Casserole Preparation Method
- Wash and soak the rice for 10 minutes
- In a casserole mix all ingredients with rice and simmer on low heat till all water has been absorbed by the rice.
- Let stay on the stove for some time before serving.
