Aussie Burgers Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 lb of beef mince
  • ½ cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg for beef patties
  • Tomato or bbq sauce
  • Salt and pepper for taste
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup of lettuce
  • 8 tomato slices
  • 4 beetroot slices

Aussie Burgers Preparation Method

  • Take a barbeque plate and heat it.
  • Add oil in it and let it get warmed. Now add onions and fry till they get soft. 
  • Take a bowl and mix mince, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg and the fired onions. Add salt and pepper for taste.
  • Mix them well and take a part of it and give it a shape of patties.
  • Now take a bbq plate or a grill and cook the patties for about 8 to 10 minutes. Make sure that both the side of the patties is cooked well till you get the golden brown colour.
  • In another frying pan cook the sliced onion till they get brown.
  • Cook eggs in lightly oiled egg rings.
  • Now take the hamburger bun and cut them half horizontally and toast the cut side of hamburger on a barbeque grill to make it crispy.
  • Now lay them on a plate; on the base of each hamburger bun put some lettuce, tomato slice, beetroot, cooked beef pattie, egg, onion and tomato or bbq sauce. 
  • Top it with the toasted hamburger bun. 
  • You can also include pineapple, bacon and cheese if you like but these are optional it is not necessary for you to use the same for the filling.
  • Your Aussie Burger is ready to serve.
