Lemonade Diet

Lemonade diet or lemonade cleanse diet is a type of Detox Diet that helps you in reducing your weight up to 20 pounds in nearly 10 days. It helps in providing relief from chronic pain that a person might having since long time. Other than these benefits, the diet helps in cleansing or detoxifying your body by removing waste.

Lemonade diet is given for certain period between 10 to 15 days depending upon your weight or other medical issues you are suffering from. The diet will comprise fluids only in the forms of drink that have different composition of lemon juice in it.

Ingredients and procedure to make Lemonade:

The ingredients needed to make Lemonade are: 2 oz. fresh lemons, 2 oz. maple syrup, ¼ of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and 2 cups of water.

Lemonade is made by mixing the juice of two lemons in the mix prepared from rest of the ingredients stated above.

Routine to follow with Lemonade diet:

In the morning, the person is required to drink a ‘salt water flush’ having 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 quart of water in it. The drink will help in flushing out the acids and toxins made in the body overnight. It should not be drink in hurry after a long commute. Give yourself sometime to drink whole water.

The day diet will mainly include drinks made of lemonade mix.

At night, the person on diet will take herbal laxative tea to relax his/her body from stress.
Although, intake of lemonade diet helps in  reducing the weight in few days, but during its intake period the person might feel some discomfort in his body like dizziness, diarrhea, or feeling like puking after drinking the salt water flush. Initially, after reducing some weight, the body might get weak. But the body will recharge its energy after consuming some foods.

It is recommended to complete diet by slowly moving to normal meal, so that the body gets adjusted to this new change. The person who was on diet should not go on an eating binge, as it can lead to causing many serious problems in the body.  One should slowly start on solid foods to give adjustment time to his newly cleansed system.

If the person on dieting is non-vegetarian, then he should start on old diet by drinking citric juices like orange juice first. The juices will help in keeping the digestive system on old track. Further, increasing the amount of raw fruits and vegetables in the food will help in balancing the right weight of the body. On the other hand, vegetarians come to their normal routine easily after having detox diet.

From starting to completion, it is advised to follow all the rules and guidelines properly in while going on lemonade diet to avoid severe medical problems.
