Important Information about Pulmicort


  • Pulmicort generic name is budesonide inhalation
  • It is used to avoid from asthma attacks
  • It is not used to treat the asthma attack that has already begun
  • It must be stored at room temperature and keep away from moisture and heat
  • Inform your doctor in advance if you have osteoporosis, any liver disease, history of tuberculosis

Side Effects of Pulmicort are:

  • Weakness tired feeling, nausea, vomiting, and feeling like you might pass out
  • Wheezing or breathing problems after using Pulmicort
  • Worsening respiratory symptoms
  • Ear pain with fever
  • Vision problems
  • Changes in the shape or location of body fat

Less serious side effects may include:

  • White patches or sores inside your mouth or on your lips
  • Runny or stuffy nose, sneezing
  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain
  • Nosebleed
  • Headache
