Important Information about CellCept

  • CellCept generic name is mycophenolate mofetil
  • CellCept helps to prevent your body from rejecting a kidney, liver, or heart transplant
  • It must be stored at room temperature and keep away from moisture and heat
  • You are not supposed to use this drug at the first trimester of pregnancy
  • It may cause harm to the unborn baby
  • Inform your doctor if you have any stomach ulcer, kidney disease, viral, bacterial, or fungal infection

Side Effects of CellCept :

  • Fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms
  • Easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness
  • Coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds
  • Bloody, black, or tarry stools
  • Painful or difficult urination
  • Chest pain
  • Feeling like you might pass out
  • Problems with vision, speech, balance, or memory
  • Weakness in your legs, lack of coordination

Less serious side effects may include:

  • Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, or constipation
  • Headache, mild weakness
  • Swelling in your hands or feet
  • Numbness or tingly feeling
  • Anxiety, sleep problems
