What is The Difference Between Degenerative Osteoporosis and Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is also known as a degenerative disease. This is because the condition cannot be reversed. It can only be managed and prevented. The disease is characterized by bone loss, which only worsens with time. The only remedies are supplementing the bone loss by adding more to it. The bone loss is not going to stop. Hence it is called a degenerative disorder. The generation of the bone is what is affected here. Hence osteoporosis and degenerative osteoporosis are used synonymously. There is no difference between the two. When the osteoporosis worsens and starts affecting the vertebrae and the hips it becomes degenerative disease. When the discs of the spinal cord are affected and begin to leach, then it is called degenerative disc condition.
