The overall fame of this festival has catapulted with the passage of time quite enormously. T in the park begins in the year 1994 at the Strathclyde Country Park in Glasgow. Tickets of T in the Park are expected to be in great demand this year after the declaration of the fabulous line-up for this year's festival.
Spearheading the event are American rockers Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and Sheffield indie band Arctic Monkeys. They will be accompanied by a whole range of other acts across a diverse range of musical genres.
Among those who are also sharing the stage this July will be Tinie Tempah, Jessie J., The Script, Blink-182, Brandon Flowers, Blondie, Pulp, This year's T in the Park will be held at Balado Airfield, Kinross-Shire, between July 8th and 10th.
According to the ongoing T in the Park 2012 rumors, the Foo Fighters are expected to headline the T in the Park 2012. Based on the Scottish newspaper The Daily Record, Dave Grohl's Grammy-winning band are negotiating to perform in this year’s T in the Park making it a hat trick after sharing the stage at the festival in 2002 and headlining in 2005.
In the article published on 27th October, a band insider said: "The Foo Fighers will be in the UK next July and are in talks with promoters about a string of key shows that will remind fans what they have been missing since they last played in the UK.
"T in the Park is in the frame, though there will also be the temptation to try to get the band to stage a major stadium date in their own right in Scotland, if promoters feel there is the market for it.
"Dave and the lads enjoyed playing the Scottish festival on their previous visits, though it may be some time before the organizers will be ready to confirm."
Sources say that Foo Fighters have merely two dates confirmed in the UK for 2012, they are set to headliner the Milton Keynes Bowl on the 2nd and 3rd July. The article also reports that Geoff Ellis, chief executive of T in the Park promoters DF Concerts, promotes Biffy Clyro to headline. The Scottish band will be accompanying the Foo Fighters for both Milton Keynes shows.
T in the Park 2012 will be organized from 12-14 July at Balado Park near Kinross, Scotland.
