Two and a half men portrayed in a new light on Valentine’s Day with catfight between two girls and two clueless men on the latest episode named “Sips, Sonnets and Sodomy”. Zoey and Lyndsey (Courtney Thorne-Smith) have an ongoing tussle which the men do not seem to understand and they spend Valentine’s Day together in the beach house because of a storm which forces them to stay in.
Although Lyndsey and Zoey seem to have problems throughout, yet the final straw is drawn when she and Walden return from seeing an opera. Both the ladies disagree on the greatness of opera and soon they end up discussing their educational qualifications. Whereas, Zoey is classy and completed her education in Oxford and Harvard, Lyndsey on the other hand has passed out from a community college. Lyndsey thinks that Zoey is being stubborn and snobby. They both complain against each other to their boyfriends.
The girls meet brag about their respective Valentine’s Day plan. Zoey is excited to go to Cabo San Lucas with Walden in his Walden’s private jet. While, Lyndsey plans a perfect day with Alan on bed with sessions of breakfast, wine, poetry and lovemaking. Zoey is surprised to hear this as she thinks that Lyndsey is dumb and will not understand poetry. This again fuels the egos. Mean while there is a thunderous noise outside and because of a snow storm the road turns in to a sink hole. Zoey thinks of calling her ex husband to inform him that she will not be able to pick her daughter tomorrow because of the road blockade. Lyndsey also thinks to call and inform her son that she would come home early, to which Zoey again makes fun out of the mother son relations. This makes Lyndsey angry and she tells Zoey to speak to her about this sometime in future when her daughter will grow up and get pregnant.
The power too goes out and Walden is afraid that they might die. The ladies are again furious and start complaining to their men. Alan goes out to buy some stuff hearing Zoey shout ,Walden to joins him outside in the storm. The men seem to enjoy it out and Walden tells Alan that he will have to shift from the house to settle the fight between the ladies but Alan says that he is more eager to change girlfriend than his home.
At the beach house, the ladies reconcile and discuss about their future plans with each other. But outside, Alan is caught in a mudslide and Walden is in a tree branch trying to save Alan. The ladies hope that the men are safe outside but they are not. Alan tells Walden to stop trying saving him and to let him go.
