Miss Earth 2012 Pageant:
This annual beauty contest is one among the three largest international beauty contests of the world. It is also the most publicized one. Founded in the year 2001, the foundation’s main motive is to support environmental causes. Beauty for a cause is the slogan of Miss Earth. This Foundation was established in 2004 to support conservation and environmental causes.
Miss Earth 2012 When and Where:
Miss Earth, 2012 is the 12th edition of the contest and is expected to be held in Bali, Indonesia on the 28th of October, 2012. Olga Alava, the winner of Miss Earth 2011, will be presenting the crown to the new winner in a grand finale event. The official broadcasters of the Miss Earth this year are ABS-CBN and Studio 23 in partnership with STAR TV and The Filipino Channel.
Miss Earth 2012 Coronation Ball:
Miss Earth, 2012 being held in Indonesia has about 80 participants from various countries of the world. The contest being promoted by Carousel productions has roped in the health supplement giant Young Cool Perfect to be the official sponsor of the extravaganza. The main theme of this pageant is eco-friendliness. From the contestants to their designers everyone tries their best to incorporate this aspect into their creativity.
Miss Earth 2012 Prizes and Rewards:
Apart from wearing the stunning crown designed to represent the very elements that make the earth, the winner of the Miss Earth title will spend the next one year contributing her time and effort towards the betterment of the planet in every possible way she can.
