LazyTown is an Icelandic television show for children’s. The cast and crew of LazyTown are from Iceland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Latibær is an Icelandic name for LazyTown. Magnús Scheving, a gymnastics champion was the creator of LazyTown. He is the CEO of LazyTown Entertainment, and also stars in the show. It has aired on Nick Jr, Noggin, YTV, BBC One, CBeebies, RTP2, ABC1, Super RTL, Sjónvarpið, Discovery Kids, V-me and Ketnet, with other television networks.

The LazyTown has been highly successful, airing in over 100 countries, with more than a dozen languages. Marathon Media Group produced the LazyTown French dubbed version.

On August 16, 2004, the first series of LazyTown appeared in the U.S. on Nick Jr, May 15, 2006 the second series' of LazyTown season debuted in the U.S. on Nick Jr and from September 18, 2004 to September 9, 2006 LazyTown aired again in the U.S. on CBS. LazyTown have been produced in total of 52 episodes.

2009, LazyTown continues to generate spin-off projects and a TV series for younger children called LazyTown Extra.
