Lakshmi Mittal‚ the steel tycoon‚ an Indian national by birth‚ is the chairman and chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal‚ which is the world’s largest steelmaking company. This year‚ he has been ranked in the 5th position by the Forbes Magazine. His net worth equals US $28.7 billion.
Lakshmi Mittal is a board council member of the Prime Minister of India’s Global Advisory Council of Overseas Indians. He is also the non-executive director of Goldman Sachs‚ EADS and ICICI Bank. Presently he is also the vice chairman of the World Steel Association.
