Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka is one of the major and senior most professional accounting organizations in Sri Lanka, which is maintained over 4,300 chartered accountants. This CA Sri Lanka Institute was recognized by Act of Parliament on January 30, No. 23 of 1959 as the sole organization with the right to award the Chartered Accountant designation in Sri Lanka. The Institute issues capacity to gain knowledge and guidance to the accountancy and finance profession in Sri Lanka and also globally.
In September 2009, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and NIA (National Institute of Accountants) Australia have entered into a Mutual recognition agreement (MRA). Because to get additional development in the relation between these two institutes and create the guidelines on how qualified members can get mutual membership. If you are eligible for CA Sri Lanka then you can also become CPA Australia member under the Mutual recognition agreement.

4. For the process your application will take approximately 10 to 15 working days. Once they finalize the estimation of your application, they will send you an email advising you of your assessment outcome.
