Introduction
The Dove Awards were established in 1969 by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to represent a variety of musical styles including rock, pop, hip hop, country, and urban music. These awards are presented to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The purpose of GMA Dove Awards is to raise awareness for both Christian as well as Gospel music.
