Bubble Craft

The definition of a bubble is given in different ways, like: A thin, hemispherical or spherical film of liquid filled with air or gas. Eg: a soap bubble.

A gas formed in a liquid in the form of bubbles rising to the surface.

A space created in a solid by air or gas that is trapped, during solidification. Etc.

Following are few bubble ideas for bubble fun which can be done at home, as crafts for kids to keep your child engaged for hours together to make bubble foam.

You can make bubbles foam by different ways, it is very simple:

Bubble Crafts Making Solution : Method 1

  • 1/2 cup dish soap
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Medium size mixing bowl or cup
  • Spoon
  • Sealed container (jar with lid)

Bubble Craft making Method 2.

Material required for making bubble crafts:

  • 1/2 cup dish washing detergent
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup glycerin (available at most medical stores)

Bubble Crafts Making Method 3.

Material required:

  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 cup of dish soap
  • 1/4 cup of corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup dishwashing detergent,
  • 1 cup water
  • Corn syrup. (The mixture should settle for ten minutes,before use).

Bubble Craft Activity 1:

Bubble craft Materials:

  • 1 drinking straw
  • 1 six-pack pop holder (the plastic found around pop cans)
  • Scotch tape
  • Bowl or pan
  • Scissors, optional.

How to make bubbles:

Take a bowl or a pan, add water, dish soap and sugar together (measurements as given above). Don't stir or shake too much. Store this liquid in a sealed container to retain its effect.

Instructions for the Bubble creation:

  • Tape the holder to the straw.
  • Pour bubble water (as prepared by above methods) into bowl or pan.
  • Dip into bubble waterand blow around. Make the surrounding full of bubbles.

Bubble Craft Materials:

  • Bubble solution (as prepared by above methods)
  • color paper or Copier paper
  • drinking straws (Plastic)
  • Newspaper or plastic tablecloth
  • Tempera paint

Method for bubble craft making:

  • Use the plastic tablecloth or newspaper for spreading on the work surface.
  • Take many shallow disposable containers, such as Aluminum pie, tins soft drink containers, etc,
  • In each, blend 1 cup of bubble solution with 1/2 cup of tempera paint. Set out your paper (copier paper or colored paper) and many plastic drinking straws. A small hole should be pierced halfway up the straw with a pin so that small children don't swallow the paint.
  • One end of the straw should be immersed in the bubble container and air should be blown from the other end of the straw. Small bubbles will appear in the container. As the bubbles begin to overflow, you can take a print.
  • Now slowly touch the paper to the bubbles and then lift to see the print, repeat this Procedure till the paper is fully covered with colorful design. Blow more bubbles if needed. You can get different effects by printing one color over another.

  • 3 yards of wide pink ribbon

  • double-sided tape
  • 9-inch white balloons

  • socks
  • leggings
  • shower cap
  • face paint

  • Using craft scissors cut the bottom of the plastic tub with the help of elders.
  • Suspenders should be adjusted to fit your child and tie knot to the end together under the rim .Hot glue or a thick tape should be used to attach ducky and hand towel to the edge of the tub.
  • Knot the ends together and blow up many balloons. Slide a safety pin through the shirt and into the tied-off neck of the balloon, from the inner side of the sweat shirt. Continue the process until the shirt is covered with bubbles (see that you do not disturb or are closure to the suspenders).
  • The child should be made to wear on the pink leggings, pink socks, bubbly shirt, bathtub, and shower cap. Spread on extra bubbles on her cap, leggings, and socks, you can draw rosy cheeks with face paint available with you. Watch and see, your child will love to be in the tub for hours together.
